Day 295 of Giving Thanks

I am grateful for confirmation. God uses our life to display His works. And, I take that personally. 

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.


Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” ~Philippians 4:4-9

There are many moving parts in my life right now, and I have things that I “feel” need to happen quickly, and I am trusting that it will all be handled. And, this morning, as confusion and anxiety fill my heart and mind. I stop and become very silent - seeking the presence of my Lord. I ask for a lifting in my heart, a clearing of my mind. For it is in His presence that I can release all these feelings that are not good. 

I am grateful that in my silence, in His presence I hear "it is OK my child. I am with you and I know what you need, and I will handle what you cannot."
