Day 681 of Giving Thanks Daily

Simply said today, I am grateful that every day is a new day – I slept well and awoke rested, which is a rare occasion – oh so grateful for mornings like this.

As I set out to start this wonderful Sunday, I knew that the day would be full – my revelations class was very thought provoking – and the lesson at church was revealing – time with my husband on projects was exhausting, yet rewarding.

I am looking forward to this next week and restoring some sort of normalcy, if that even exists. This week I will settle back into my old position at work – thankful for the opportunity to feel productive once again – this week I have renewed hope for the next stage of my life and look forward to discovering my God passion. Help me Father to see all that You have for me clearly – help me to remove things that will hinder Your progress in me.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~Jeremiah 29:11

I am grateful that every day I find something to be thankful for. On the days when I “feel” that it is struggle, I am forced to really allow God to reveal all that I truly have. And that gives me so much to be thankful for accumulatively… Rejoice, I say, rejoice for I have the Lord in my life, in my heart and in my days.

Final Exhortations
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” ~Philippians 4:4-9 (NIV)
