"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. ~Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
We have an amazing ministry, one that has no budget, no timelines, no borders and no limits and One, amazing and timeless God. We are a group of believers who desire to encourage others, to lend a hand, to bow a head, to lift a friend and to make new friends, all in the honor and glory of God the Father, in the strength of the Holy Spirit and only because of the work of Jesus – His work allows our work. Isn’t that amazing? Around the world in 2 seconds happens every day for this beautiful group of soldiers.
My prayer every day is for all of us to be bold and to find strength and courage as we write our way into people’s lives. And, finally that hearts will be reached in God’s power and according to His will. Today is a special note of thanks to all of the dedicated brothers and sisters, who write, pray and encourage so many through sharing scripture through the Psalm 139 Ministry. We are God’s people.
Sometimes I have to be reminded of what He has already done (the cross), to know that He does, and does abundantly... and, tonight as I read through the pages of the ministry, His presence is apparent and His people are anointed.
Tonight I would like to share a prayer that was said to the group, but applicable for all of us for this 2 second world we live in…
Lord, I lift all those who are buried in life's busyness today. We come to You in confidence that You are in control, and we need to let You lead. We thank You Father for Your grace that we see everyday, Your mercies that are so abundantly experienced. We thank You for Your tenderness in guiding us rightly. We pray for confidence in Your plans for each and every one of us. We pray that we can see where You want us and can recognize all of those You place before us and along side us as Your beacon and light. We just come to You LORD in the mighty name of Jesus and continue to thank You for You... for the lives we have, our families and our wonderful friends, our brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us to remember that we are to encourage others as You form us through our circumstances. Let us always be aware of Your calling for us especially a midst the busyness and challenges that we face. In the face of adversity, we see Your face, Lord Jesus. Thank You. We pray these things through Your precious blood. Amen
And, let me leave you with the best encouragement I received today, “Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." ~Joshua 1:9 (Amplified Bible)
'nuff said... He is my strength, my courage, MY EVERYTHING for this journey.
