Day 267 of Giving Thanks
I did arrive at work a bit late, but jumped right on what needed to be looked at and handled early; and then a 10:30AM training sessions, lunch and another training session completely filled my day. Father, keep me grounded in a time when scheduling my time is so imperative to reach my goals. I am grateful that my thoughts have changed. That my words spoken aloud or just in my mind, are a priority to me now. Thank you for always reminding me of the things I need to change. Thank you for helping me understand how important your word is, and that self edification through your word is relevant.
“The tongue has the power of life and death,
~Proverbs 18:21 (NIV)

Were you listening to Joyce Meyer today? I just watched her broadcast tonight. Exactly what I needed to hear.
ReplyDeleteYesterday, the wrong words left my mouth. Today, I held them at bay - but need to replace the thoughts and speak the truth of God's word outloud! Joyce taught about how our angels are waiting to hear His word so they can get busy carrying it out.
Yes, I did hear her - but only bits and pieces. Then I wrote this and went back later to listen again... What I heard was Proverbs 18:21.. and I really dwelt on it. God has been working on me through my thoughts - my primary Love Language (Gary Chapman) is "words of affirmation". So, it is always top on my list of awareness. And, really it is the words I use for myself.
